On your mark… Get set… GO-KART!

NC’s civil engineering club built a battery-powered race go-kart to compete in the 6th annual Formula South Invitational tomorrow morning. NC teacher and club advisor Adam Cogbill said, “We’re excited for the competition, even though we ran into some trouble getting our car to work.” Held at Kennesaw State University’s Marietta campus, competitors will race their electric go-karts, showcasing the skills of their engineering teams in addition to raising money for the Robert Glenn Allen Scholarship Foundation.
