The Magnet program will hold their first ever sock exchange event this year on December 18 during all lunches in the Magnet Lounge. The event allows Magnet students to meet other peers within NC through their shared admiration of socks. “The sock exchange is a really cool opportunity for students to find creative, fun, and crazy socks. You bring it into your bundle teacher and they put it in a paper bag and you explain why you chose these crazy socks. The ultimate goal is for us to get to know each other a little better and create a community within the Magnet program and I am excited to be a part of it. I’ve already gotten several crazy pairs,” AP Lang teacher Lindsey Theaker said.
