The genre of music an individual enjoys can predict what style they wear. Over multiple decades, numerous styles populated the scene, from grunge’s creation in the early 1990s to the resurfacing of the preppy style in the 2020s. These unique styles continue to live on, pairing with different music tastes.

Dominic McSpadden is a junior at NC and decided to apply for his first year on The Chant in search of new experiences. McSpadden has always had a love for art, cartoons and animation. He is excited to meet new people and create more art that he can love dearly. In his free time he likes to ice skate, binge shows and click buttons on his laptop.
