Alicia Bush, News Editor-in-Chief

Well, hello there! My name is Alicia M. Bush, representing for the class of 2015! I am in NC's magnet program for International Studies, and I serve as a Link Crew leader for freshmen. My fellow newsies are the best. Not only are they the most talented individuals in the world, they are like my family.
As Editor-in-Chief, I guess it's safe to say I love words: writing them, speaking them, creating catchy jingles out of them. I look forward to writing unique pieces and wandering in the world of journalism. My future goals and aspirations include becoming a radio host, screenwriter, and owner of a productions company. In addition to communicative arts, I love lots of music, natural hair tutorials, and 90's sitcoms like Martin, Living Single, and The Parkers. I'm just learning to appreciate life and all of God's graces and mercies, while maintaining healthy levels of sass, soul, style, and humor.
Be blessed!
