The Chant

Hannah Cuthbertson
Hannah Cuthbertson, a Sophomore at North Cobb, loves to write poetry and go on runs. She does Track and Cross Country through North Cobb, both of which she thoroughly enjoys. She also loves skateboarding with friends and riding her bike. During the last six months of quarantine, she has found a strong love for crafting of different types and playing the guitar. She has two younger sisters who love to play board games and steal her clothes, as well as two loving parents who provide an extremely accepting home environment. While they can be annoying at times, she would do anything for her family. Though she enjoys the freedom of the summer-time, Hannah’s favorite season is fall, as she is able to wear big sweaters and enjoy cloudless skies; Hannah takes great joy in watching sunsets and stargazing, both of which require sunny days.

Hannah is currently writing a novel called Just Peachy, in which a young boy is forced to move from his home-town, only to be hit by his past when he returns. She hopes to get scholarships through writing and running so that she can attend her dream school, NYU, and become a journalist. Becoming a journalist, along with traveling the world, has always been her dream. Hannah is extremely outgoing and adventurous. She loves taking on challenges and pushing herself to be the absolute best she can be. She is very excited to be a part of The Chant staff, and can’t wait to write her best pieces yet.
