Through his interactions with the players he coaches, Callahan has shared his knowledge of baseball, helping them improve their skills while fostering a constructive team atmosphere. “I’ve been on varsity since my sophomore year. I’ve learned how to be persistent and what will work to win games. I like how he is very close to our team and doesn’t act like he is greater than the players,” senior varsity baseball player Tyler Gorsuch said.

Varsity Boys Basketball coach Terry Gorsuch accompanies senior player Kevin Hester during senior night, saying a farewell to a significant part of his 2018-2019 season coaching basketball. “Each Senior group is special—these four seniors have been awesome and I will truly miss them. Shota Suzuki, Kevin Hester, Josh Moten, and Tyrese Crawford have done so much for the program the last four years,” Gorsuch said.

Will Hargis teaches AP and on-level Psychology along with Melanie Shelnutt, who will retire later this year. In addition to advising multiple clubs, Hargis will take over the full AP psychology program beginning next school year. “I enjoy being a role model for the kids, and I have never regretted taking on so much in the school. I know that I am ready to take over the AP psych program,”Hargis said.
