Seniors showed their true personalities as they posed for ID pictures. “I dressed up as a VSCO girl because when I look back at my senior picture, to be like ‘oh yeah that was the time when all everyone was being a VSCO queen’ and lets be honest I was NC’s original VSCO girl... Over and out sksk VSCO girl,” said Magnet senior Chandler Quaile.

Seniors show their true ID

After two months of anticipation, students received their school ID cards during homeroom today. While the underclassmens photos will appear in the yearbook, the photographers allowed the seniors to dress in silly attire for their IDs. Senior Isabella Keaton resembled a young child and chose to put her hair into pigtails and hold up a stuffed animal for her photo. Senior Esteban Alarcon kept his photo simple, with a fitted black t-shirt and a half smile. Senior Tara Anastasoff recreated her Kindergarten yearbook photo, choosing to wear a leopard print vest and fake bangs to perfectly replicate her younger self.

With the start of this school year came the enforcement of a new rule. At lunch, the courtyard is typically packed with students from all grade levels, but now, only seniors have access to this area. To access the courtyard during lunch, the student must show their school ID to confirm their grade level. It is way less chaotic in the cafeteria, but I miss being outside and enjoying the nice weather junior Jess Campos said.
