Persevering Magnet senior LaNya Washington hopes to achieve success by raising funds to pay off tuition for her cotillion and provide scholarship opportunities for young girls. Washington carefully crafts yummy treats for NC students, providing a symphony of flavors for all sweet tooth enthusiasts. Her treats consist of an assortment of cookies and tres leches cake.

As government censorship continues to rise, schools continue restricting access to websites deemed inappropriate. Students in research classes stand frustrated with the ever-increasing amount of blocked content. However, dissatisfaction with educational digital restrictions remains especially thwarting for students who lack home internet access.

Inspired by her Hispanic heritage, magnet senior Sophie Salomon decided to create her own ramos, or flower bouquets, business at the beginning of her junior year. Through this business, Salomon continuously works to spread her culture and joy around the Acworth community. As she progresses into her senior year, Salomon hopes to spark bonds through her ramos bundles and to grow her business at NC.
