Junior class president and small business owner Ryan Lacey started a club inspiring entrepreneurs in search of new business opportunities. With meetings every Wednesday afternoon in Mr. Dennard’s room (806), Lacey invites all students to attend and bring their ideas with them. The club welcomes students with or without prior knowledge of the business. Seniors Lucky Dang and Haneen Mohommad pitched their creative entrepreneurial ideas to the club’s attendees.

Entrepreneur Alley calls all future business owners

After establishing her business in December of 2020, entrepreneur Cris White makes heavy advances in her stationery shop and deepens her love of Korean culture. Even though she created her business during a pandemic, she constantly looks toward the future of her business and focuses on areas of improvement, “[I plan to] do more in-person events now that COVID 19 restrictions are lifted. I want people to actually be able to put a face to the name which I feel is important to do. Yes, you can do that with videos, but [ it doesnt have the same effect],” White said.

In hopes of growing her client base bigger, sophomore class president Ryan Lacey takes her business extremely seriously and dedicates much of her time to promoting and shipping orders to help spread positivity. Ryan donates 10% of her proceeds to Dress For Success, an Atlanta program that donates clothes and proceeds to women in need. Lacey felt that the program’s mission falls in line with her mission to help others and support women. Lacey hopes her business can touch everyone with her messages and hopes to make a change in clothing “regulations.”
