The Chant

After finding out that in a few short months Magnet seniors Galaye Seck and Abbey Corley will make the journey to New York City for, at least, the next four years of their lives, both students felt pure joy and excitement for this next chapter. “The moment I found out I was accepted was one of the best feelings of my life. My mom and sister were on my side and it was a day of celebration for the whole family with lots of tears being shed,” said Seck.

College in the Big Apple

Students interested in exploring options for future education flocked to the Performing Arts Center during 4th period for a college information session from New York University. Admissions representative Denise Ballinas lead the informational meeting, and opened up the floor for students to ask questions. For further information about NYU, stop by the Counselors Office to pick up a pamphlet from the school.
