Seniors continue Senior week with “anything but a backpack” day. Seniors ditched their bags for items ranging from shopping carts to pets. After seeing highschools across the world through various apps like Tik Tok and Instagram participate in “anything but a backpack day”, North Cobb decided to let seniors ditch their backpacks for items ranging from shopping carts to pets. One senior swapped her bookbag for a shopping cart and decorated it with blankets. “It was a great idea to let seniors be creative with what they bring, but the rules weren’t as clear as I expected. A lot of students were being sent home for bringing dogs but it was never clear we couldnt bring them,” senior Sarah Triana said.

Community members and parents alike packed the NC Performing Arts Center to see the NC fine arts program perform on Thursday, December 12. With pieces such as “Sleigh Ride” and the popular “Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” the audience whispered and sang along to reminiscent jingles. “I think it went really smoothly considering we only had a full run-through once,” senior chorus member Niara Minifield said.
