NC hosts a food truck behind the Freshman Academy to recognize staff for Teacher Appreciation Week. Teachers may order food and eat it at tables next to the food truck during their lunch periods. The caterer, Gaston Street Eats, provides a variety of food choices, including fresh gulf shrimp, fried chicken breast and fried hand pies. NC makes sure to thank the staff in special ways to show their appreciation.

NC administrator, Kiel Southwell, grills hamburger beef and sausages in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. Gathering together in the courtyard, NC teachers and administrators enjoyed their meal as they talked and celebrated with one another. Its lovely to be recognized for all those extra hours we put in, AP Macroeconomics teacher Dr. Pam Roach said, its a small token and its lovely.

Continuing the celebration for teacher appreciation week, Northstar Church came to NC today and served food to the teachers during lunch. Teachers were given the option of burgers, hot dogs, chips, cake, and a variety of drinks.

Due teacher appreciation week, teachers gather in the courtyard in a celebration hosted by North Star Church to commemorate their hard work as an educator. AP Literature teacher, Mrs. Porter commented, “This is a wonderful celebration. I’m glad to be recognized.” CTAE video production and broadcasting teacher, Mr. Dempsey simply said, “thank you.”
