Generation Alpha—the children of millennials—took advantage of the first- generation of children born when social media apps such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube became common words in daily conversation. The advancement of technology offered a rise to the term “screenagers”. The digital world provides the Alphas with the benefit of acquiring knowledge from the internet while leading them down a negative path of introversion. The introversion will affect how they perceive learning at school and how they interact socially in the future.

People in the technology field can earn six figures on average and earn stocks from their companies too. Corporations need people for jobs such as data scientists and software developers. As the world becomes digital, jobs in the tech industry will continue to grow and remain in high demand. People can work in companies like Apple and Amazon and other medium companies such as Spotify or Microsoft.

From streaming to iPhones, these products provide a new, more convenient way to enjoy basic entertainment, find information, listen to music and especially interact with others. As technology continues to grow, the last 20 years in terms of technology will remind future generations that challenging the norm and finding alternatives can produce a successful product.

Out of all the apps on her phone, fifth grader Yazmine B. spends the most time on TikTok, an app that allows its 500 million active monthly users to create comedy, dance, and lip sync videos. TikTok’s guidelines require parent permission for users under 18 to use the app. Young children and tweens like Yazmine usually fabricate their birthdates to create an account. The app does little to protect its younger users from explicit content and online predators. “It’s a joke,” Titania Jordan, Chief Marketing Officer of Bark, a parental control service, said.
