All six principal hosts of The Tonight Show: Steve Allen (1954-1957), Jack Paar (1957-1962), Johnny Carson (1962-1992), Jay Leno (1992-2009, 2010-2014); Conan O’Brien (2009-2010) and current host Jimmy Fallon (2014-present). Each Principal host brought something new to the table, creating the shows continual evolution. Fun Fact: In February of 2015, to celebrate current host Jimmy Fallon’s new position, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream came out with a new flavor of ice cream named the “The Tonight Dough starring Jimmy Fallon.”
