Students eagerly wait as the homecoming dance approaches. Starting Friday October 11 through October 17, students can purchase homecoming tickets for the price of $20 with no school fines. Tickets purchased friday October 18 will sell for $25 and the day of the homecoming dance for $30 at the door.

Prom creeps up right around the corner as students make their final appointments and purchases for the memorable night this coming Saturday, March 23. Currently, the school sells tickets to students in the main cafeteria for $80. From choosing prom dresses, tuxes, matching shoes, and accessories, juniors and seniors anticipate one of the most memorable nights of their high school years.

Today in the cafeteria, former front office clerk Julie Merendino and administrator David Bell set up a table in the cafeteria to sell tickets for tonight’s home game. This year, the price jumped to six dollars per ticket, due to Cobb County’s $0.80 increase in taxes. However, this does not deter NC students. “Ticket sales are going great, weve sold more than 50 tickets and its only B lunch,” Merendino said.

NC’s prom is right around the corner on April16th at Opera Atlanta, making it important for students that plan on going to purchase tickets before April 15th. Tickets will be sold on March 23rd in room 717 from 7:45am to 8:15am. They also will be sold from March 29th to March 31st in the main cafeteria. Last chance to buy tickets are from April 12th to April 14th, so make sure to get them before they’re gone!
