At the festival, peaches proved to be a versatile fruit. Companies turned the fruit into jams and sauces for festival-goers to sample and take home.

This past weekend, August 22-23 2014, Kennesaw hosted the annual Pigs & Peaches Barbeque Festival. Despite the extreme heat, festival-goers found pleasure in the barbeque samples, live music, and art kiosks. With blazing temperatures, spicy pork, and sweet peaches, the festival had Georgia written all over it.

As a Pigs & Peaches festival first-timer, the experience exuded an unforgettable vibe. Both the foods and the environment burst with flavor. Artists of all kinds received recognition and appreciation: chefs, sculptors, jewelry-makers, and musicians alike could co-mingle and share spotlights. The Pigs & Peaches festival as a whole is a must-attend Georgia experience.
