Rachel Hunt is a senior in the North Cobb Magnet Program for International Studies and a reporter/photographer on The Chant.

She enjoys reading, writing, and binge watching on Netflix. Her favorite school subject is science.

She sustained a 5 year dancing career and has been a member of NCHS color guard for four years. Rachel enjoys the diversity of opportunities provided at North Cobb and has ensured that she takes full advantage of them when possible.

She hates horror movies and sushi. Rachel insists that competitive marching band is a sport and that Zaxby’s is better than Chick-Fil-a. Her most memorable life moments include meeting the band Little Mix and exiting the field after her final marching band competition.

When talking about the last performance she said, “we knew we hit it. It was perfect and that made it like a movie ending.”

She plans to attend the University of South Alabama in the fall and study meteorology to achieve her dream job as a storm chaser. She hopes to write current news and entertainment stories for The Chant.
