As the 2024-25 school year draws to a close, several young athletes, such as senior Isaac Sikes-Rasby (58), prepare to continue their passion for sports in college. After committing to the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Charlotte during February, Sikes-Rasby looks excitedly towards the next chapter in his career. With the litany of skills and lessons he learned on NC’s campus, the young man heads into his next four years with unbridled passion.

As the Class of 2025 prepares for a future outside of NC, several young athletes — such as Donte Wagner-Kline — look excitedly towards taking their skills onto a new playing field. November 13, Wagner-Kline signed to play lacrosse with Emmanuel University, an opportunity that will sharpen his passion for the sport. With the support of his family and teammates, he hopes to end his final season playing for NC’s varsity boys lacrosse team (7-0) with a bang.

November 13, senior and attackman Zach Afalla (3) committed to play lacrosse at Hampton University in the Fall of 2025. Known around the field for his passion for the sport, Afalla has created a name for himself through the game of lacrosse — without the help of his recognizable hairstyle. As he progresses on towards collaborating with his new Division One teammates, the young athlete reflects fondly on his time with the brotherhood he created at NC.
