As the clock continues to tick, hundreds of federal employees face layoffs due to the 41-day government shutdown. In hopes of passing a bill that ends the longest shutdown in history, Democratic and Republican senators came together Sunday, November 9, to discuss potential solutions. Now, Americans await the final vote from President Donald Trump in the upcoming days.
