The custodians created a barricade outside of the girls' bathroom in the 600 hallway using a ladder, trash can, hose, mop, and bucket to stop people from coming inside. The restroom, currently closed for maintenance, will reopen shortly.

The school temporarily closed the boy’s restroom in the 600 hall due to water pipe issues. “The bathroom pipes are continued to be worked on,” said one of the school’s janitors. While they fix the bathroom, students will have to use an alternative restroom.

Lauren Wardlaw, NC sophomore, tries out the new soap dispenser. After spending the whole semester without a functioning soap dispenser on the 600 hall’s girls’ restroom, students alerted head custodian Edward Gordon and he resolved the situation within minutes. Explaining that students simply need to communicate, Gordon explains, “if something’s broken, I’ll fix it. I just need to know about it.”
