The first flowers of spring bloom in the courtyard as students enjoy a half day on March 11. Several students look forward to enjoying the newly warm weather during their afternoon off.

Jumping into spring

Students happily enjoyed their first three hour school day of the semester. These county-wide half days emerged last year, allowing teachers time to meet with other educators in the area and discuss lesson plans and test scores. While teachers stayed after the last bell rang at 11:30, students used the extra time to catch up on homework, take a nap, or hang out with friends.
