Preparing for “anything but a backpack day”, Mrs. Goodwin will carry the belongings of the highest senior bidder for tomorrow. The winning senior will meet with Mrs. Goodwin after school today to plan the route of the seniors school day. Bidding started at the beginning of the school day and all proceedings will go towards the graduating class of 2022. Seniors interested should bid on the instagram story of @northcobbchorus before the school day ends.

Starting off Senior week, participating seniors dress up as kindergartners, including Alanna Gill and Kaitlyn Carson, sporting pigtails and colorful outfits. The day’s meaning: to reminisce on childhood memories before finishing their school career, marks the beginning of a bitter sweet send off. “I am so excited for the rest of Senior Week and everything that it has in store for the class of 2022. I believe that future NC seniors will gracefully carry on this tradition of Warrior Pride and school spirit,” senior Kaitlyn Carson said.

Seniors jump into the festivities of Senior Week

Today, seniors at NC showed their fellow classmates what they hope to become in the future. Students dressed up as different career choices, including teachers, nurses, or even explorers and farmers. Senior Julia Snyder plans on attending Oglethorpe University in the fall to pursue a teaching degree. “I really love kids, and Oglethorpe recently added a teaching program to their school,” Snyder said.
