Media Specialist Lisa Wheeler helps a student checkout a book from the library. “I grew up in the Emory University library because both my parents taught there, so I grew up around books and research. I wanted to stick with that because I missed it. My favorite part is helping people, especially the kids who want to find a book and don’t know what to look for, so recommending something they end up loving. Also, helping the kids find research for their papers or whatever topics they’re looking at,” Ms. Wheeler said. Happy National Library Worker Day!
