For years, Paul McCartney has toured all around the country despite his advancing age. Every time he performs, he never disappoints.

For the first time since 2009, Paul McCartney came to Philips Arena in Atlanta, performing a fantastic show. With a little help from some of his friends, McCartney and his crew recreated what The Beatles first accomplished long ago. Even though McCartney still writes new music, most of the concert consisted of songs by The Beatles or Wings. From “Hey Jude” to “Live and Let Die,” he rocked out every song.

Paul continues playing and making music, despite the loss of two fellow Beatles, John Lennon and George Harrison. He’s played at countless arenas around the world, becoming the first person to perform a rock concert in Red Square in Russia. He also performed a pre-game concert for the Super Bowl in 2002, and a halftime show for the 2005 Super Bowl. One of his most interesting gigs was during the Academy Awards in 2006 where he joined Jay-Z and Linkin Park. In 2009, he re-united with drummer Ringo Starr to perform at the Radio City Music Hall in memory of John Lennon.

The crowd in Atlanta remained exhilarating in McCartney’s presence. Many fans brought posters to show their love for him. Of course, at the end of the concert, he said “See you next year!” He definitely showed no signs of slowing down. One of the highlights of his performance was when he brought out the guitar he used to record a The Beatles’ albums and started jamming out on it.

In addition to his passionate singing, Paul loved to tell old stories of his times with John, George and Ringo, and allowed the fans an amazing look back to the days of The Beatles.

In the end, the fans saw that Paul truly enjoys touring around the world and performing. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that the ageless Paul McCartney proves one of the most famous musicians of all time.
