Turtle time at NC

Amber Roldan

Human Anatomy’s beloved class pet, Chicken Wing the turtle embraced a rare day of freedom outside of her tank. She spent the entirety of third period prowling Mrs. Adams’ classroom while befriending her students. The class enjoyed spending the duration of class studying the anatomy and physiology of a turtle and comparing it to that of a human. “Having a class turtle is such a cool learning experience. I love getting to learn about my four legged friend and watching her explore the classroom,” NC sophomore Harmony Harvey-Morris said.
