Addie Hill and The Sturniolo Triplets
After the Sturniolo triplets’ rise to fame in recent years on YouTube, the brothers became adored by fans worldwide. From chaotic car videos to vlogs, subscribers continue to support the creators’ channel. Especially with their recent podcast, the triplets provide their viewers with a way to learn about their lives, which helps grow their fanbase.

In recent years, social media celebrities such as Mr. Beast or Haley Pham mesmerized subscribers with their videos entailing gaming or vlogs, however, the Sturniolo Triplets took the internet by storm with their engaging YouTube videos. Nick, Matt and Chris Sturniolo film conversations in their car, which they post every Friday; each conversation typically derives from a specific prompt that leads to interesting banter between the brothers. Teenagers admire the content creators for their blunt, hysterical videos that keep them entertained.

“I watch the Sturniolo triplets because they are funny and they make simple things like talking really interesting and intriguing to watch. I like the fact that they continue to act like siblings in their videos, and how in a lot of their videos they’re always arguing, fighting and yelling at each other. I find that it’s super relatable and more real to watch,” magnet junior Rianna Albert said.

Fans love each brother’s individual personality. The oldest brother, Nick, typically sits in the back of the car and acts boisterous and witty. Watchers frequently find Nick screaming or arguing with his brothers, resulting in his loving fanbase. Fans adore the middle triplet, Matt, for his quiet personality which audiences see as soft and kind. Lastly, Chris frequently makes immature jokes and displays the persona of a middle school boy. Fans recognize and adore each sibling for his uniqueness because it makes each video more engaging.

The brothers began their walk to social fame during the COVID-19 pandemic with their first video. The channel first displayed daily vlogs that showcased the rambunctious life of the triplets during their time in high school. Since then, their platform has grown to the signature videos of the brothers talking in the car, accompanied by vlogs that post every Wednesday. The continuous content led to their YouTube page surpassing one million subscribers April 9, 2022, followed by a celebratory video.

As the triplets grew in fame, they received numerous questions from fans asking about more serious topics, such as their childhood or future plans. Since the brothers wanted to keep their YouTube channel upbeat and continue the same energy of the videos they posted previously, the Sturniolos decided to create a podcast. Named the Cut the Cameras Podcast, the brothers opened a way to discuss heavier topics and allow fans to know them on a more personal level without taking away from the enjoyment viewers find from the original YouTube channel. The first video posted October 1, 2020, entailed an introduction to the brothers’ childhood, describing each of their individual experiences of growing up as triplets. Fans appreciated the different forms of content and continued to enjoy learning deeper information about the creators.

“I think their podcast is really good since they talk about their life experiences, both on and off camera, and an unfiltered view of who they are, mentally and personally, especially when talking about being triplets. They bring an authentic vibe to their platform, not trying hard to be funny or seem relatable but genuinely connecting to their viewers and showcasing their views on many things in life,” magnet junior Naomi Barthelmy-James said.

Overall, the triplets revolutionized the idea of YouTube creators with their car videos. Fans consistently count on the brothers to make them laugh and provide entertaining content, which the brothers continue to do with their posts on YouTube and Instagram.
