About the Contributors
Addie Hill, Lead Page and Media Team Liaison
Advancing into her second year on The Chant, Addie Hill’s love for writing has only grown. Now serving as the Page Lead and Media Team Liaison, Hill hopes to expand her abilities as a writer, communicator and editor, all while still striving to reach her main goal for this year: worshiping Jesus. As co-leader of NC’s Collective Hope Bible Study Club and attendee of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Hill aims to spread God’s love through writing. Outside of reporting, Hill loves to dance, listen to indie-folk music, read, crochet, spend time with her family and friends, and attend church.
She cannot wait to finish her final chapter at NC by reporting for the school’s publication, and she strives to write for a newspaper in college and beyond!

Alyssa Mehta, Reporter
Beginning her first year on The Chant, reporter Alyssa Mehta is overjoyed by this experience. During her junior year as a magnet student, Mehta aims to continue expanding her writing abilities and branching out to new experiences that The Chant provides. As co-president of Rally, president of SkillsUSA, and attendee of EcoWarriors, Beta Club, Interact, Model UN, Tribal Connections, and other various organizations, Mehta hopes to encourage new members through her writing and provide more light on events at NC. Outside of the Pub Office, Mehta can be found on the soccer field, spending time with her best friends, attending concerts, binging TV shows, or going to huge family events. Mehta cannot wait to work with her peers on The Chant and make a difference through her writing.

Sophia Lamb, Reporter
Sophia Lamb, a junior in the magnet program at NC, has joined The Chant this year. She is driven by her deep passion for writing and her eagerness to broaden her horizons. Growing up with a teacher as a father, Lamb was introduced to advanced learning early on, with writing emerging as her favorite and most intuitive skill. Aspiring to be a marine biologist, she hopes that her experience with The Chant will help her craft informative pieces about marine events. Lamb’s love for animals and her special connection with them fuel her ambition to pursue a career in marine biology. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, playing tennis, baking, and exploring the city with her friends. Although this is her first year on The Chant, Lamb is excited to make a splash and let both her creative and scientific passions shine.

Callie Kinsinger, Copy Editor
Callie Kinsinger, a senior at NC, joined The Chant because of her love for writing and hopes to excel through journalism as a way to gain knowledge for her future plans of working in public relations. Looking brightly to the future, Kinsinger cannot be more excited to find her place in a college that works best for her. She loves school because she likes to work and learn from other people, happy to be in any situation that surrounds her with friends and family. She enjoys reading,—especially romance—dancing, listening to music, and constantly exploring new activities. With a diligent mind, she spends a chunk of her time working at various jobs and helping out her community through honorary NC clubs. She always looks forward to traveling to new places and meeting new people. Kinsinger currently explores different high-level classes to keep her senior year intriguing and exciting, and cannot wait to live out her final year through writing for The Chant.
