Starting off Senior week, participating seniors dress up as kindergartners, including Alanna Gill and Kaitlyn Carson, sporting pigtails and colorful outfits. The day’s meaning: to reminisce on childhood memories before finishing their school career, marks the beginning of a bitter sweet send off. “I am so excited for the rest of Senior Week and everything that it has in store for the class of 2022. I believe that future NC seniors will gracefully carry on this tradition of Warrior Pride and school spirit,” senior Kaitlyn Carson said.

Seniors wore purple to school in honor of their classmate Arielle Sterrett, who passed away last semester. They chose Tuesday of senior week to remember her by wearing her favorite color. The yearbook staff also gave her an honorary superlative, “Most Likely to Take Home to Mom,” to keep her legacy alive in the senior class.

Students jump into Kindergarten day as they start the senior dress up week. Seniors Chelsea Scarborough and Maddy Bilbrey dress up with sandals, high socks, and pigtails. The two school children play leap frog during lunch in the courtyard. Students will lay out their outfits for tomorrow's theme of purple out, in memory of the student Arielle Sterrett.
