Due to the mid-semester stress that comes along as the end of the semester approaches, students tend to misplace items. These items are accounted as a lost cause and never searched for again. Admin encourages students to stop by the lost and found table located next to the attendance office to collect their lost items. Students rushed for their checkout passes as the office scrambled to hand them out, overwhelming mentors and administrators in the process. Administrators took initiative and handed out check out passes themselves, individually calling teachers to retrieve the students, helping to relieve the chaos. “When I saw the line and I went into the attendance office, I just kept thinking there had to be a more efficient way,” assistant principal Stephen Revard said.
