The final episode of “The Last of Us” premieres Sunday, March 12. Since fans exceeded the creators expectations by passing their predicted view count, they announced season two January 27. Fans hope that the second season will add to the original story of the video game franchise, along with further exploring the relationships between the characters on the show.

NC’s varsity Lady Warriors basketball team (2-1) joined forces to face the Denmark Danes (2-1). Teamwork and agility ran through the Lady Warriors blood as they defeated the Danes by a large gap of 29 points. The Lady Warriors continue to maintain high spirits and develop their strengths individually and as a group. The trust built with each other, the chemistry between the team members and individual constructive criticism keeps the team alive as the season progresses.

While teachers attempt to engage students in their lessons, certain rules established for learners remain unnecessary and in several cases, dramatic. Students may not find it critical to follow ridiculous rules school boards and teachers enforce. Arbitrary rules over chewing gum, hoods or the choice to stand for the pledge of allegiance can lead to problems nationwide.

While most teens do not feel they lack an attention span to watch a school movie, interesting movie recommendations for them to watch outside of school may change their lives and thought processes. A specific film may influence a teenager to try or do something new. For example, a film may change a viewer’s dream job to something related to the plot of the movie. Movies possess multiple outlets to the real world and may better a viewers life.
