The fourth annual Cow Drop and Screen on the Green movie night returned, deciding on the Disney favorite, Lilo and Stitch. Though the night ended early due to a thunderstorm warning, the cow drop went smoothly with every cow falling safely out of the helicopter and smacking on to the football field, Wednesday, October 8.

Unfortunately, opening credits of Lilo and Stitch never rolled across the huge projector on the field due to weather conditions.

“My mom won the cow drop and I have never seen her so excited in my whole life. She bought five tickets from my daughter, Rayna, and one of those five tickets won her free Chick-Fil-A for a whole year,” Mrs. Ezzell, English teacher, said.

Following the cow drop came a thunderstorm, which caused the night’s plans to come to a halt. All of the attendees had to make their way into the gym and wait out the storm.
