Baristas on Tiktok have inspired the rest of the community by raving over users’ custom Starbucks drinks and creating some of their own innovative creations. Tiktok users, whether they produce content or not, have been rushing to Starbucks across the nation to try the most delicious drinks out there. Mixing flavors and ingredients, Tiktokers have experimented to find the best, most unique drinks, today they face the ultimate test.

Dubbed “The Tiktok Drink,” the white mocha with sweet cream cold foam and extra caramel drizzle exploded in popularity over the last few months. Despite the drink sounding like it would taste almost unbearably sweet, the drink presents an unexpected bitter coffee flavor. The drink provided satisfaction but lacked the “wow-factor” that fans claimed in their Tiktok taste tests. It does not deserve the hype or a second try.

Referred to as the “Taste of Fall,” the chai tea latte with pumpkin cold foam left non-chai lovers unsatisfied. However, fans of the cinnamon, spice-filled tea rave over the drink’s fall flavors and complexity. The pumpkin cold foam gave a sweet, light flavor to the chai tea latte and brought the flavor reminiscent of the autumn season to life. For chai lovers, this drink will join their regular Starbucks order rotation, for those who don’t regularly indulge in chai, the drink left them confused and ordering something else.

“The chai tea latte with pumpkin cold foam is my new favorite fall drink because it is so yummy and unique. It’s the perfect balance between the chai spice and the foam’s sweetness,” Magnet senior Sophia Green said.

The “Pink Drink,” a social media curated classic, takes on a new twist in this Tiktok recipe. By replacing the coconut milk with heavy cream and adding three scoops of vanilla bean powder, the “Pink Drink” becomes thicker and creamier. Resembling more of a milkshake texture as a result of the thickness of the heavy cream, this drink emulates the strawberry and cream flavor and leaves fruity drink fans beyond satisfied. Those who do not prefer fruit in their drinks should stick to their regular orders.

The real smash hit of the lineup, nicknamed the Oreo Frappuccino, consists of a Mocha Cookie Frappuccino replacing the mocha with white mocha. Adding the white mocha replicates the iconic cream filling from a typical Oreo. The dessert-like drink provides the perfect sweet treat after a long day. Although the Oreo frappuccino would give one an unsustainable sugar high in the morning, it works perfectly as a midday pick-me-up.

While Tiktok has presented a number of creative drink options, Starbucks itself will come out with its holiday menu and give Tiktokers a new opportunity for innovation.
