However, with a couple of steps and patience, baking creates a rewarding experience, demonstrating how anyone can create desserts from scratch. A sample of NC students participated in interviews about events such as the Tiktok ban, Los Angeles fires and Luigi Mangione’s actions and their impacts on their personal lives. In addition, students spoke their truth and explained their stances on the latest newsworthy events.

Numerous students look forward to welcoming opportunities and growing as people in the new year. “NC Answers” posted a response board asking students what their New Year's resolution involves. The respondents wrote down their New Year's resolutions, allowing listeners to see different perspectives on what the new year holds.

Citlalli Vela, a magnet senior, joined The Chant’s Media Team to pursue her artistry. As a little kid, she used drawing to portray her emotions and the current fandoms she obsessed over. Today, she designs logos for organizations around NC such as NC Rally, magnet, and the website Github. After school, Vela spins with the NC Color Guard and is President of the Greenhouse Gang. She enjoys horror movies, scrapbooking, music, shopping, and mindlessly scrolling the Internet. Dominic McSpadden is a junior at NC and decided to apply for his first year on The Chant in search of new experiences. McSpadden has always had a love for art, cartoons and animation. He is excited to meet new people and create more art that he can love dearly. In his free time he likes to ice skate, binge shows and click buttons on his laptop. McSpadden also has a passion for teaching and psychology. He loves spending time with kids and wants to someday work with children and inspire them.
