History lesson
While waiting to check out her son, sophomore Patrick Roberts, Kimberly Roberts indulges in a wall dedicated to the figures of African American history. “I think it is important recognize the people that are genuinely good. Frederick Douglass was a good man,” Roberts said. “Some of my favorite quotes are from him….We should continue to teach our children about great people like him. These are the people our kids need to emulate.”

Nope, actually the wall is the same, but the quotes are quite different–one from a student’s perspective and another from a parent’s. Thanks for noticing the similarities, though!
