The new and improved roundabout pleases students more than ever now that it serves its purpose. The NC construction program offers their skills to help decongest the crowded halls by enhancing the aesthetic and structure of the traffic-control box.

Although NC students previously hated the large object in the middle of Malfunction Junction, it appears that a new love for the wooden barrier developed. Students began to adorn the new addition with stickers, including college logos, brands, and the crowd favorite: memes. “I think we should add more [stickers] to add character to the display,” sophomore Spencer Paige said.

An enhanced version of NC’s Malfunction Junction roundabout stands strong in the center of the intersection. Mr. Cogbill, NC’s engineering teacher, and his students developed this idea in the hopes of easing the flow of traffic, however it may be doing the opposite. “I’m not sure how I feel about the roundabout. At first, it seemed like a phenomenal idea, but I don’t think it’s living up to its expectations,” says sophomore Blake Williams.
