The NC Warriors soccer team played against the McEachern Indians Friday night. Although the Warriors started strong, the game ended 3-1 Indians, a devastating loss for the Warriors.

Senior Jackson Horton scored NC’s goal in the first 15 seconds of the game, but the Indians tied it by halftime. In the second half, the Warriors defense was weak and the Indians fought and scored two more goals.

“We played bad, we are mentally weak and couldn’t close out the game,” Senior Ethan Williamson

Senior Dobromir Dobrichev received one yellow card and junior Mewasiah Gaypia earned a red card, his second of the season.

“Jackson set us on the right path for success but we couldn’t finish the job because we lacked the discipline to work as a team,” senior Avery Cobb said.

Tuesday night, the Warriors will face the Hillgrove Hawks at Hillgrove for a region game.
