The Acworth Art Fest took place between April 6 and 7. The event offered a common ground for artists and creators to present their work. Art Fest participant Hannah Coker displayed 13 pieces of her work in hopes to meet new people and sell her products.

Their positions near the top of the list of schools applied to by NC students make UGA and UNG ideal places for students to visit during their time on the Peach Tour. 
“We chose North Georgia and UGA because they’re close in [the] vicinity and we can get there with no problems. We have a great ROTC program here. North Georgia has an ROTC program that students always look at, and UGA is one of the top schools that students tend to apply to. The students that are interested can see the nature of both [schools],” Aldridge said.

NC juniors Laney Robitzsch and Tatiana Londoño smile after receiving their bronze medals from attaining the 9th position at the annual FCCLA state competition. Sophomore Kiara Kisor, the original team member, could not savor this moment with her partner due to health issues but despite all odds, the students’ determination to win a medal earned them a bronze medal, which they now wear with pride.

	Students received notes from North Star Admin regarding NC students’ privilege of parking on the church’s campus. The administration discontinued providing their parking lot for students who did not purchase a parking pass. Students keep hopes high for North Star reopening their church lot for students in the upcoming semester.

	Over this past weekend, the NC varsity winter guard and Cadets teams performed for the second time since January. With a new coach came unexpected twists and turns and a different style of work; however, the team adjusted to the change seamlessly and will continue to strive for greatness.
