Instead of heading to their fourth period classes, the NC class of 2025 took to Emory Sewell Stadium to engage in the first of several senior festivities: Senior Field Day. Complete with Pelicans Sno Balls and several childhood games, students played with friends and danced to early 2000s hits before Spring Break. With only 21 school days left for seniors, April 4 served as a nostalgic start to the end of their high school careers.

Three insects, each producing a nearly identical sound, but key details set them apart. Between flies, bees and wasps, each one creates a unique buzzing sound, each at a different frequency and therefore an incrementally different tone. Overall, bees win the prize for the only tolerable sound out of the three. With flies creating an annoying high-pitched buzz everyone feels pestered by, and wasps being perceived as too scary to actually appreciate, bees remain the only logical option.
