Darwin Kamau, a junior at NC, joined The Chant to hone his love for writing and investigative skills. He loves writing about current issues, sports, and pop culture. By joining The Chant Kamau hopes to form new friendships, learn from his peers, and share his interests while showcasing his writing abilities. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Kamau moved to Georgia in 2016. Having to acclimate to a new school and country, Kamau learned how to overcome adversity, and utilizes that skill in whatever challenges that come his way. When not writing, Kamau enjoys listening to music, watching sports, reading fiction, spending time with friends, and visiting new places with his family. In the future, Kamau hopes to attend Georgia Tech to major in nuclear engineering. Kamau is also a part of the North Cobb Warrior Wrestling Team.

The past month in the Premier League brings nothing short of thrill every single gameweek. New transfers exceeded expectations, others disappointed greatly. Newly introduced managers brought clubs back to former glory, and other managers committed fireable offenses, causing doubt in their capability to bring teams ahead of the relegation line.
