In celebration of teacher appreciation week, NC hosted a cookout for all teachers and administration. Teachers gather around in the courtyard to enjoy freshly cooked hamburgers, veggie burgers, and hotdogs made by Assistant Principal Kiel Southwell. “Teaching is a challenging job, [the cookout] is a good opportunity to mix with peers, to get outside, and to get some great food served by Chef Southwell,” Magnet Coordinator and AP human geography teacher James Auld said.

Sponsored by Bay Equity Home Loans, NC held a free cookout to show their appreciation for the hard-working staff. The teachers could choose from hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks in the courtyard. “This is going to be dee-licious!” Coach Bell said.
