With students from both NC and Georgia Tech coming together to dance for the kids, they raised over $3,000 that will entirely go to CHOA. Through their dancing and fundraising, new friendships were made between high school and college students as they collectively worked towards helping children in need.

Seniors dressed up in orange to represent their class color and hyped up the crowd to start the FTK dance marathon. “The organization is very special in the way that they help the community and so many people,” senior hype leader Zion Fitch said.

Warriors for the Kids raises over $3000 for CHOA

In Mrs. Ellis’ office, a small glass jar full of an unknown amount of Skittles lies. It serves as a raffle for the Warriors for the Kids (WFTK) sub-committee in Tribal Connections. Students simply pay a small fee of $1 to guess the number of Skittles in the jar. Should they guess correctly, they will win the following items: Chick-Fil-A merchandise, gift cards, and a complimentary basket.
