With a turn out beyond expectations, “Welcome to Hollywood” broke records and made for life changing memories. Seniors danced their hearts out for the last time, happy they participated. “I definitely enjoyed it, I feel like if you dont participate it wont be fun. Thats why I went to all four of my homecomings,”senior and homecoming court member Madelyn Toombs said.

Students dressed up in either their rags or riches for homecoming week. Students who dressed in rags dressed their worst, while students who dressed in riches dressed their best to impress. Students wore pajamas or old, messy clothes or wore fancy clothes or “gangster-rich” just like rappers.

Students kick off this year’s Hollywood themed Homecoming dress-up week with Tacky Tourist Day. Students filled the school’s hallways with cargo shorts, tacky printed shirts, and stylish accessories. “[Tacky Tourist Day] is a great way to show your school spirit, and if you couldnt do it today there is the rest of the week to dress up,” junior Priscilla Petersen said.
