With Easter right around the corner, figuring out last minute ways to decorate the house can become challenging. Although not everyone celebrates Easter, adorning the walls of the house with cute Spring-themed crafts can lighten anyone’s mood.

Easter Egg Wreath

Supplies:

  1. Styrofoam wreath (any size)
  2. Plastic Easter eggs
  3. Hot glue gun
  4. Ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Grab the wreath and heat up the hot glue gun.
  2. Take the plastic Easter eggs and put a quarter-sized dot of hot glue on it.
  3. Stick the egg anywhere on the styrofoam wreath.
  4. Repeat the process until eggs cover the entire wreath.
  5. Fill any bare areas of the wreath with another egg.

Dying Easter Eggs

Supplies:

  1. Hard-boiled eggs
  2. Paas Egg dye kit
  3. Plastic cups
  4. Vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Put the color tablets from the Paas Egg Dye kit each in their own cup. Fill the cups with one tablespoon of vinegar. Let the tablets dissolve.
  2. Once the tablets dissolve, fill each cup with half a cup of water.
  3. Drop the eggs one at a time in plastic cups filled with dye. Wait about five minutes per egg for maximum dye effect.
  4. Decorate eggs to personal desire.

Mason Jar Easter Granola

Supplies:

  1. Mason jar
  2. Ribbon
  3. Granola (any kind will work)
  4. Candy (mini chocolate eggs, Reese’s Pieces, Hershey’s Kisses, etc.)
  5. Chocolate Bunny
  6. Tape
  7. Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Take the mason jar and fill it up with the granola. Add in the candy and shake mixture together.
  2. Close the jar and wrap the ribbon around the base of the lid. Tie a ribbon in bowtie shape.
  3. Finally, add the chocolate bunny by taping the bottom of it and sticking it to the lid.

These three craft ideas can take anyone’s Easter from drab to fab in a matter of hours. Even traditional crafts, like dying eggs, can bring a family together to celebrate a time of love and renewal. Take time to enjoy Easter this year with family while creating memorable experiences through arts and crafts. Happy Easter!
