Skye Pierre, Reporter
Skye Pierre, a magnet junior, is eager to begin her first year as a Reporter on The Chant. Growing up, Pierre always possessed a fondness for writing, whether it be fiction or nonfiction. However, The Chant is only one of many ways Pierre expresses her love for writing. She is vice president and social media manager of NC’s Speech and Debate team, where she attends tournaments and weekly meetings. Pierre is also involved at Camp Acworth during the summer and NC’s Relay for Life team; both are ways in which she expresses her love for volunteering in her community. Pierre enjoys reading and hanging out with friends. She hopes to inspire and encourage others through her writing on The Chant.
