The Warriors entered Friday night with a 6-1 record, while the Hawks arrived with a 1-6 record. The Warriors dominated the 3AAAAAAAA region a year prior and so far earned a 3-0 start to 2021 region play. NC will travel to an away game on October 29 against the Marietta Blue Devils, come out and support our Warriors.

At tonight’s football game, students, friends, and families will wear pink to show awareness for breast cancer. Because October serves as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Relay For Life sold pink shirts to students and teachers so they could show their support. “I am a big supporter of Relay For Life here at North Cobb. I’m proud of my association with it, my sister is a 15-year Stage 3 breast cancer survivor, so I celebrate the research that’s been done and I want to support it anyway I can. So wear pink, and let’s yell ‘Go warriors’,” AP Psychology teacher Melanie Shelnutt said.

Students celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month by decorating classroom doors with creative spooky themes. Next Monday, judges will determine whose class wins the prize basket full of snacks. “Isabella Keaton and Adrienne Schuller took charge of our door. They decided to theme it up with Halloween and saying ‘scare away’ breast cancer. I love the idea, but they have full credit for it,” Economics teacher Marcus Marenda said.
