![Students gain the opportunity to design and construct in Coach Adam Cogbill’s engineering class. This is one of several career technology classes that NC offers. However, the issue of the failure to encourage or recognize the furthering of trade skills in post-secondary education perpetuates in much of the school. “My engineering teacher [Cogbill] knew I was interested in trade school, so he invited me to go with the construction class to a trade school job fair in Cartersville where we talked to a bunch of representatives from companies such as Superior Plumbing, Cobb EMC, Georgia Power and Georgia Gas.
