Generation Alpha—the children of millennials—took advantage of the first- generation of children born when social media apps such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube became common words in daily conversation. The advancement of technology offered a rise to the term “screenagers”. The digital world provides the Alphas with the benefit of acquiring knowledge from the internet while leading them down a negative path of introversion. The introversion will affect how they perceive learning at school and how they interact socially in the future.

The Writers Guild of America(WGA) started a strike May 2, 2023, against the studios and companies within the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers(AMPTP). Major film dates continue to stop production because of the strike. This strike shows how multiple people, not just writers, agree that the people who write high-budget movies and TV shows deserve the correct rewards for them.
