Ramita Das, a junior in NC, joined The Chant to express her thoughts and ideas through her love for writing and develop the skills necessary to write proficiently. She loves to socialize and aspires to meet many remarkable people, too.  Das has a strong interest in dancing and is part of a non-profit cultural organization, Georgia Bengali Forum (GBF), where she performs annually and provides volunteer services. Previously, She has also performed at several sponsored concerts with her dance teammates. Her other interests include reading for fun, photography, collecting memories and taking nature hikes. She wants to make a difference in her community and have many accomplishments, hoping it will make her and her family proud. As for college, she is highly interested in pursuing psychology.

Generation Alpha—the children of millennials—took advantage of the first- generation of children born when social media apps such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube became common words in daily conversation. The advancement of technology offered a rise to the term “screenagers”. The digital world provides the Alphas with the benefit of acquiring knowledge from the internet while leading them down a negative path of introversion. The introversion will affect how they perceive learning at school and how they interact socially in the future.
