A variety of military-based decorations across NC; from left to right, clockwise: a military wreath of flowers, a board showcasing the names and ranks of servicemen related to NC staff, a folded flag and plaque honoring those who gave up their lives in the service of the nation, and a row of flags planted in front of the school. This Veterans Day, NJROTC members presented their colors for all to see, carrying on this decades long tradition.

To commemorate the heros that shaped America, NC celebrated with a breakfast and assembly in the auditorium, inviting veterans in the community. Banners around the room consisted of historical information to show the background of the veterans. Chrous and orchestra performed patriotic songs for the audience and veterans. “I went with Dr. Reagan’s class, and I thought it was so sweet and nice to celebrate Veteran’s Day here at NC. I would love to go next year and learn more about the veterans here in the community” junior Elizabeth Steel said.

We thank you for your service
