Students welcome NC’s first ever The Office club. The club offers students a wide selection of memes and office-related jokes to share amongst themselves. The club enjoys naming their members from characters of the show as they meet every Wednesday afternoon.

The club sponsor shares a beloved adoration for the office series and characters herself.

“ I just love The Office so much. I want to name my children Jim and Pam but I think that would be a little weird. I am on round number fifteen of watching the whole series in a month. Teaching kind of cuts into my watching time, so most of the time I’ll just assign students some busy work or call up a substitute for a day so I can catch up,” ethnic studies teacher Roxanna Talia said.

The club even watches the series during their weekly meetings and bring snacks along to add to the enjoyment.

“I love this school and appreciate how the students are able to make this place their own. I myself am a fan of The Office series so I have attended a few meetings. My favorite character is Michael Scott, I just appreciate his work ethic. North Cobb is such a diverse and welcoming environment and I believe that we are setting an example for the rest of Cobb County. We are orange,” NC principal Matthew Moody said.

Inspired students find the opportunity to start new projects in NC’s embracing environment.

“Me and Ms. Talia were talking about how much we love the Office and she inspired me to start my own club, so I did! I think it will be a great opportunity to add a unique piece of myself onto my resume as well. I think we are doing an awesome job at recruiting more members for our club and receiving more funds to keep it going for our Netflix subscription,” sophomore Maria Rexana said.

The club met their goal for funding to offer all members the opportunity to purchase matching Dunder Mifflin shirts and hope to add more members and increase their staff at the Dunder Mifflin paper company.

April Fools, you fools!
